I held the newborn – only five hours old -- in my arms and it was pure pleasure, but when the father took his baby back and I looked at them together I was deeply moved. The expression on the father’s face as he snuggled and bonded with his child brought back a flood of memories and feelings about the birth of my own children. It’s an experience of a lifetime.
